Why we built League of Pundits
One Sunday afternoon, over too many replays of VAR decisions and the same old fantasy debates, a group of friends did what fans do best: we argued, we laughed, and we made a better idea out of our frustrations. Tired of the endless roster tinkering, last-minute injury alerts, and the grind of tracking individual players, we wanted a game that celebrated the thing that actually brings us together - the team. That’s how League of Pundits (LOP) was born.
We wanted a football game that respected fans’ time and rewarded real thinking. LOP strips away the noise - no more obsessing over who gets subbed in or called up for international duty. Instead, it puts the spotlight back on strategy, context, and good old-fashioned punditry: picking teams, judging form, weighing fixtures, and predicting outcomes. It’s the test of football knowledge we wanted to play every week without turning our weekends into a second job.
